Can You Catch a Leprechaun?

think this would catch a leprechaun? i guess we'll see. this is the trap that Andy took to school today. i never heard of setting leprechaun traps 'til i came out here to nevada. the pieces of gold are really just yellow buttons, but that's all i had. the rest is just cardboard, paper, tongue depressors, and of course a little bit of rick rack.

I hadn't either until I subbed for Kienna's Kindergarten Class. Turns out that it's tradition in the kindergarten classes that the "Leprechauns" come in an mess things up (turn chairs over, etc.) while the kids are at recess. I know a lot of moms that do that to their kids rooms, etc, but then leave a few chocolate gold coins. Funny. I wish I would have thought of fun stuff like that when my kids were younger.

The Leprechauns were at my house while I was away. Hope he catches one.

I remember I made a giant trap once to see if Leprechauns were real. I didn't catch one, lol. Did you find anything in the trap???? Haha

My kids have made leprechaun traps since they were babies. Last year was the first time they didn't make any trap. They didn't want to this year, how sad. Caelin wore a green shirt and Anastasia happened to have a green hair band since she has to wear a uniform. Logan said his teacher wrote on him with a green marker. I miss the excitement of trying to catch leprechauns.
